"You'll Find Out:" A Tales from the Darkside Correlation

Drogan. Tales from the Darkside: The Movie.

Over the years, I've found myself saying in this in certain situations. For instance, "black" women who have sided with white folks (i.e. the Feminist movement, government and the media) in throwing "black" men under the bus, rolling them over, putting the gear in reverse and backing over them. I see this travesty and think to myself: "Keep being strange bedfellows with these people, thinking they're your friends, you'll find out. Cross them one time, and you'll see what they really think of you."

This made me think of the 1990 movie, Tales from the Darkside, a film based off the classic TV series-- still the most spooky theme I've ever heard in TV history, in my opinion. Anyway, in the second story of this film, entitled "The Cat from Hell," Drogan, an eccentric millionaire, hires a hitman...to kill a cat!

Why? Because his sister brought a cat in the house and he had these mythical superstitions about cats (e.g. cats suffocating babies while they're sleeping). He also accused the cat of killing members in the house. As he explained all of this to the hitman, he told him how he constantly warned her to get rid of that cat, but she wouldn't listen. In the end of his explanation, his final warning to her was, "You'll find out!" Long story short, the cat turned out just as Drogan said, killing the hitman in the most gruesome, gross way and eventually killing Drogan, causing him to suffer a heart attack.

I say that because this brings me to something that I will correlate with this story, specifically Drogan's warning. Before I became a member of the Way of Yah "synagogue," during my time there and afterwards, I've seen people making comments to those who had a problem with their so-called pastor, saying things such as, "I've never had a problem with him, never." Well, I didn't either until I got to know that egotistical piece of shit.

The funny thing about them defending him is that usually these are people who never stepped foot in that place, so my question to them is, how can your word top the ones who have been on the inside? Impossible. I theorize that some of these people are also current members who are using default accounts, but that's neither here or there.

They will hear things being said about that so-called pastor and will criticize the person who made the video. I can't be too critical of them, though. A part of me understands because I was once in their shoes. There have been cases where the individual's video-- or perhaps one of my blogs, who knows?-- is what drew them to TWOY where they could possibly become members. Ol' bonbon head isn't going to accept just anybody.

Now, these people are adults, they can make and are to their own decisions, so obviously I'm not going to anyone not to join, but I will say this: they will start off by making feel as if you're a part of the family, so it's not so bad in the beginning. It may take a few months or a few years-- in my case about 2-3 years-- but eventually you will see the masks fall off.

You will see the narcissistic, feminine ways of their pastor, the cut-throat, treacherous ways of the members-- not all, but it's more than less-- and the one-sided, two-faced bullshit overall. So anyone who wants to or has joined there, you don't have to take heed to anything I'm saying, and like I said before, it may take a while, but eventually, "you'll find out."
