Planet Jaylen: The Delusion of "Black" Men

Jaylen Brown. Photo courtesy of clutchpoints.com.

I saw a tweet from NBA player Jaylen Brown a few months ago, proclaiming that “Black” women are everything. I’m leaving a hyperlink to the tweet, so you can see that I’m not slandering the man, this came out of his own mouth, so to speak.

Before I begin, let me say this: while there have been quite a few of them I encountered who were straight-up bitches, there are some “Black” women who are cool people with me, and have been a better friend to me than some men, so for the slow folks out there, I am not talking about all “Black” women, although I think most of them fit this description in this post.

Here’s my take on Jaylen’s proclamation: as much I want to agree with him, I can’t because I live in the real world. So, maybe that is true on the planet he’s on. Now, he’s entitled to his opinion, and apparently he represents a certain sector of a delusional "Black" men who think this way, but the problem is, for the most part, the feeling isn’t mutual.

I learned years ago that a lot of “Black” women are out for themselves and don’t give a fuck about “Black” men. Most of them view “Black” men the same, even the ones who call themselves uplifting and defending them. It means nothing to them. What men like Jaylen doesn’t realize is when they trash “Black” men, they’re talking about him, too. Very few will make distinctions, and I wager that percentage is less than 5 percent.

I think the only reason that tweet--that received over 800 retweets and nearly 34K likes--would make their panties wet a little, so to speak, or they will applaud or acknowledge him even a little bit is because he’s a star basketball player. If he were an average Afro-American male and tweeted that, they wouldn’t have cared less.

You have negroes like him saying that they’re everything, meanwhile, they’re using media platforms whether it be movies/TV or social media to disrespect and trash “Black” men every chance they get yet want to cry “misogyny” as soon as they’re criticized, but that’s a subject for another post.

I think that post would hold a lot more weight if the feeling were mutual, but to sing the praises of a demographic who for the most part don’t respect you--when I say “you,” I’m referring to “Black” men in this case-- and don't give a fuck about you is mind boggling to me, to say the least. I respect those who respect me. I don’t fool with you when the respect isn’t being reciprocated.

However, there will always be these delusional Afro-American men who will pander and cater to the narcissism of these women who say fucked-up, disrespectful, emasculating, misandrous shit about “Black” men, yet expect these same men to speak well of them. Talk about having a hell of a nerve. But to hear men like Jaylen tell it, they’re everything. Maybe on that planet where he’s from. Of course, you have exceptions, but overall, I don’t feel that way about a demographic of women whom the majority of them don’t feel that way about my demographic.

Preaching to the Choir: Part Three: The Preacher's Parrots

Photo Credit: Roi Dimor on Unsplash.

I had no intention of writing a part three to this series, but here we go. I briefly touched on this subject in a post in July called, Would You Date or Marry a Church Woman? By "church" I mean a religious woman. On a side note, I should've used an image of former wrestling star Koko B. Ware and his parrot, Frank. That would've been a more accurate description.

This is not to say women from other ethnicities don't do this, but this is prevalent in "black" society. Any brother, whether he is or has been in a religious organization or not, has experienced this when dealing with religious women. When it comes to these preachers, these sisters tend to have a blind, undying devotion to them. Truth is, they tend to enable each other. He co-signs her foolishness and vice versa.

Anything that self-righteous prick says, she repeats it, almost on cue. Fellas, think about the last time you had a discussion, argument or debate with a woman you are/were dating or married to. At some point in the conversation, her response is typically going to start with something like this: "Preacher said this," "Pastor said that." It won't always start with that phrase literally, but if you're attending or attended the same congregation as she is, and you've paid attention to the pastor's rhetoric, you will realize all she did was merely repeat what he said. I had an experience like that, which I will touch on a little bit.

They're like verbal plagiarists. Regardless of what that man says, he could dead wrong, but he says with enough conviction, she will go along with-- and repeat it, sounding like naive, misguided children. It's as if she's his personal parrot or something. By the way, you don't have to date or be married to them to witness this, which brings me to the situation I referred to in the above paragraph.

The last religious organization I came from, I had a conversation with one of the women there. I asked her what she looks for in a man. Aside from the cliches they tend to quote to look like a "good person," she went on to tell me what she (claims) to look for in a man. I'm not sure if she thought I wasn't paying attention to anything that doofus said, but her response to me was the very thing I heard him to tell the women in there what they should for or expect from a man. I mean darn near word for word.

This happened about two years ago with this Grimace looking broad in the same congregation. Different conversation, same result. Being like-minded with someone is one thing, but merely repeating someone's talking points is something totally different, and religious women (BW mainly) do this so much I wonder, "Bitch, do you have a mind of your own?" "Do you ever think for yourself?"

Going back to mesmerizing of the masses by preachers I mentioned in Part Two, there's a saying that goes: "If someone can get in your mind, they can get in your ass." I'll make a slight adjustment and say if one's not careful, they can get in your ass, although I get the meaning behind the statement. Ironically, I heard that doofus preacher mentioned once when courting women, you have to get in their mind first.

I reverted to that statement to say this: not many are a bigger epitome of that saying than these preachers. They've been in the minds and eventually the asses of women for a long time-- and counting. If you decide to date or marry one of them, perhaps you should invest in a cage and some crackers.

"You'll Find Out:" A Tales from the Darkside Correlation

Drogan. Tales from the Darkside: The Movie.

Over the years, I've found myself saying in this in certain situations. For instance, "black" women who have sided with white folks (i.e. the Feminist movement, government and the media) in throwing "black" men under the bus, rolling them over, putting the gear in reverse and backing over them. I see this travesty and think to myself: "Keep being strange bedfellows with these people, thinking they're your friends, you'll find out. Cross them one time, and you'll see what they really think of you."

This made me think of the 1990 movie, Tales from the Darkside, a film based off the classic TV series-- still the most spooky theme I've ever heard in TV history, in my opinion. Anyway, in the second story of this film, entitled "The Cat from Hell," Drogan, an eccentric millionaire, hires a hitman...to kill a cat!

Why? Because his sister brought a cat in the house and he had these mythical superstitions about cats (e.g. cats suffocating babies while they're sleeping). He also accused the cat of killing members in the house. As he explained all of this to the hitman, he told him how he constantly warned her to get rid of that cat, but she wouldn't listen. In the end of his explanation, his final warning to her was, "You'll find out!" Long story short, the cat turned out just as Drogan said, killing the hitman in the most gruesome, gross way and eventually killing Drogan, causing him to suffer a heart attack.

I say that because this brings me to something that I will correlate with this story, specifically Drogan's warning. Before I became a member of the Way of Yah "synagogue," during my time there and afterwards, I've seen people making comments to those who had a problem with their so-called pastor, saying things such as, "I've never had a problem with him, never." Well, I didn't either until I got to know that egotistical piece of shit.

The funny thing about them defending him is that usually these are people who never stepped foot in that place, so my question to them is, how can your word top the ones who have been on the inside? Impossible. I theorize that some of these people are also current members who are using default accounts, but that's neither here or there.

They will hear things being said about that so-called pastor and will criticize the person who made the video. I can't be too critical of them, though. A part of me understands because I was once in their shoes. There have been cases where the individual's video-- or perhaps one of my blogs, who knows?-- is what drew them to TWOY where they could possibly become members. Ol' bonbon head isn't going to accept just anybody.

Now, these people are adults, they can make and are to their own decisions, so obviously I'm not going to anyone not to join, but I will say this: they will start off by making feel as if you're a part of the family, so it's not so bad in the beginning. It may take a few months or a few years-- in my case about 2-3 years-- but eventually you will see the masks fall off.

You will see the narcissistic, feminine ways of their pastor, the cut-throat, treacherous ways of the members-- not all, but it's more than less-- and the one-sided, two-faced bullshit overall. So anyone who wants to or has joined there, you don't have to take heed to anything I'm saying, and like I said before, it may take a while, but eventually, "you'll find out."

Dirty Dog: A B*tch Named Lynita Newson

A repost from 6/15/2019.

Note: This is a metaphorical reference. This is no way an attempt to disrespect or insult dogs. I have way more love for dogs than that female dog.

Have you ever met a woman who you found attractive-- whether it be moderately, fairly, or totally-- and wondered why she's single? I'm sure nearly if not every man will answer "yes" to that question. Again, she's at least decent looking, has a nice body, and doesn't have any children. From the few conversations you've had with her, she seems to have a good head on her shoulders.

Okay, looks like she checks all of the boxes, so what's the problem? Why is she single? What's wrong with her? It's funny because I remember talking to a friend of mine, and he told me that usually when you meet a woman like that, either she's a single mom or if she doesn't have any children, she's crazy.

Valid points that I was already aware of, but what if she's neither of those things? This reminds me of a situation I encountered with a broad I met, which will also tie into why I don't trust most women who say they're Pro-Black, Conscious, etc. The bitch's name is Lynita Newson. She wasn't a 10 but she had a decent looking face, and she had a variation of the body type I prefer.

Overall, she was decent to look at when she was able to keep her weight down. From conversations we had, she seemed to have a good head on her shoulders. As far as overall appearance, I have to factor in that she was one of the few who stood out because most of the single women in there were fat and/or ugly as fuck.

I'm not going to lie, initially, I was interested. I thought she was the total package of inner and outer qualities. As far as I'm concerned, on paper, this type of woman is what some would call "wifey material." It came to the point where I started asking myself and few others the above questions I mentioned earlier. I remember one guy who used to sing her praises, talking about drinking her bath water and building her a house. I never went that far, but I got where he was going with it.

The more I started to get to know her, the more my questions were answered. Let's just say people had this thing where they would fuck with you, and somehow, it's your fault, which will never make sense to me. I say that to say this: certain narratives would get put out there about me, mind you, she's been around me and most of the things that were being said were completely untrue, yet her stupid ass would go right along with it, repeating the same bullshit other people were saying about me.

She had-- still have, probably-- a bad habit of always repeating something someone else said, claiming that she "observed" this and that about me. Very bias observations, bitch. She did this shit so much to where I wonder if she had a mind of her own. I remember talking to her about some issues I had with someone or some people, and this bitch suggested that I try showing myself more friendly.

Mind you, these negroes were fucking with me, but I should try showing myself more friendly? I'm thinking: "Did this retarded bitch just say that stupid shit?" That's like telling a "black" person who is being harassed by the Klan to try being more friendly to them. If I could've reached through that phone and slapped the shit out of her, I would've.

I can't say that was the dumbest advice or suggestion I've ever received, but it was right up there. I asked her once what she looked for in a man. She went to repeat the same bullshit jargon most of them say, along with someone else's talking points, damn near word-for-word.

The final straw was when this bitch started low-key talking down to me, making comparisons to others and of course, repeating shit someone else said. I thought: "You're a dumb ass bitch." From there, I completely lost interest. When I first started getting to know her, I remembered her telling me that she's the Pro-Black, Conscious type, and from what I've witnessed and from the few I've met, a lot of them tend to be some fake ass, cut-throat cunts, and this bitch was no different.

If any man marries her, and he's aware of who she really is, he deserves everything he gets. If she would do that type of low-key treachery on something seemingly minor, imagine how quickly she would throw you under the bus if the situation escalated to something major? She's already in her mid-thirties and the last time I saw her, her weight was bouncing. Slim down one month, look like a fucking linebacker the next month. I'm sure by now she's either fat as fuck or her weight is still bouncing.

Speaking of that, I remember she would tell me concerning her weight: "I was never this big." Whenever she had a problem or an issue, I sat there and I listened to her. I never criticized her, but when it came to me, "Try showing yourself more friendly." "Talk about something positive." FUCK YOU BITCH!

I know you have these groveling, dickhead simps who like to say in these situations, "You're just mad because she didn't want you." Well, I've had women turn me down or reject me before, and I didn't flip out on them, I didn't call them out of their name, none of those things. I moved on from them.  To be fair, that is true in some situations, but it's not an absolute. Although she was subtle with it, it became clear that she wasn't interested, but my issue with her was the fake, cut-throat bitch she revealed herself to be, and because of that, in retrospect, I'm glad she wasn't interested. She would have your back long enough to stab you in it. Not to mention, there are too many women out there to trip over one broad.

I remember her telling a few times how people would call her "fake." The truth is they were right, she is fake. A fake, turncoat, cut-throat ass bitch. What's funny is one the individuals who called her fake was a woman she couldn't stand. Ironically, in retrospect, I realized she's just as fake and just as stuck-up as the broad she couldn't stand. As a matter of fact, she's worse than Gina (the stuck-up broad I'm referring to) because at least Gina's bullshit was transparent. Lynita hides behind that pro-black, conscious, deep thought, on-point sister facade.

Now I know why she's single. No woman will ever look that good to me to where I compromise my integrity. What women like her need to realize is they're not the only ones with a pretty or decent looking face, big breasts or ass, and they're definitely not the only ones with a wet hole. It's funny how you can go from "why is she single?" to "I can't stand that bitch."

By the way, bitch, I know you was going back telling your "massa" Tony Smith things that were being said in our conversations. I know he likes to put on this pretense of hearing from his glorified imaginary friend ("The Most High" or "Alahym") but no one is that perceptive. There were certain things that were mentioned in our conversations, and mysteriously he would mention it in a sermon or meeting not long afterward. You're a dirty motherfucker. Whatever man dates and/or marries you, better him than me.

Repost: Ballin' For Attention: My Take on the Ayesha Curry Interview

Ayesha Curry. Photo by Edmondson/ USA Today Sports Images.

 Reposted from 5/9/19.

During a recent interview, Ayesha Curry expressed— I’m paraphrasing here— that she’s not getting enough attention from men these days. Well, she got what she wanted. Apparently, she’s been getting verbally lit up on social media and I know for a fact several brothers have made YouTube videos concerning this matter because every time I go to my YT page, I see a thumbnail for a video covering the story.

Mind you, she’s the wife of Stephen Curry, an NBA superstar with multiple NBA championships and is considered one of the best players in the league, so I have to admit, this puts a hole in the argument of men who says it’s all about MLS (Money, Looks and Status) when trying to get a woman. Granted, these things are a factor, but they're not the be-all, end-all when it comes to dating/relationships.

I just mentioned his NBA career so far, I wager that most women would view him as “attractive,” which I will touch on a little later, and he’s one of the most recognized players in the world, on and off the court. He seems to have everything some think the average woman looks for in a man; he apparently checks all those boxes, so what’s the problem?

When I saw the thumbnails of her images from her interview, I noticed a slight change in her figure. She was kind of chubby and I haven’t seen that look from her, ever. It’s not something that some workout sessions couldn’t fix, however, while I personally still think she’s an attractive woman, at the same time, she’s not going to get any younger and I view this as her gradually “hitting the wall.”

Meanwhile, taking into consideration what I said about Steph earlier, the world he has been thrust into because of his career, make no mistake, this man probably gets engulfed with not just any type of woman, but choice women. Women who would be considered “dimes” to most men. He’s garnering more attention while she’s reaching a period in her life where guys will start looking away.

While I understand it's female nature to crave attention-- most will do anything to get it, and this situation seems to be no exception-- this brings me back to my take on marriage. The more I'm seeing the apparent "true nature" of most of these females nowadays, it's also starting to change my take on relationships, in general.

You have this man out here busting his ass night in and night out, not only fulfilling a life-long dream, but I'm sure supporting his family is a huge part of why he's doing what he's doing as well. Still, you have ungrateful broads like this crying about wanting attention-- from other men, no less. Not from Steph, from other men.

I look at stuff like this and I think: If this is the way most of these women think and operate, why the fuck would I want to get into a long-term relationship with them, nevertheless, marriage? You have people out here who try to brow-beat or pressure you into marriage. Why? For what reason? I've been on the fence about marriage for a long time, and stuff like this is making me leery about long-term relationships as well because if nothing else, I definitely wanted that in terms of dating/relationships.

Before I go further, let me make this perfectly clear: I'm NOT saying that I will have no dealings with women period, far from it. Of course I seek and desire female companionship in general, but looking at what's unfolding before me, I'm just calculating my steps and recalibrating in terms of how I want to go about dealing with them. Another thing: I hate to say this, but stuff like this at least somewhat justifies "players". This is right up their alley.

Why commit to a long-term relationship or marriage when you have stuff like this taking place? I mean, whether it was intentional or not, she put the man on blast, projecting this notion that he's less than a man or what he's doing is (obviously) not enough. Run that marriage thing by me again? I should get married for what reason, now?

As far as this "female's true nature" narrative goes, along with seeing some of this stuff for myself, I've been hearing guys talk more and more about how most of these women really operate. It reminds me of a saying: when people show you who they are, believe them.

The Black Female Employee Stink Face

Before I get started, let me say that this is not a reference to all black female employees, so spare me with that "don't generalize" bullshit. However, from my personal experience, particularly at Wal-Mart-- not that it doesn't happen anywhere else, but it's mainly Wal-Mart-- nearly every time I go in there, I run into one of these broads, usually a cashier, for whatever reason, giving me a stink look.

Regardless of what I'm doing, one of these heifers will just give me a shitty look, as if I'm walking around with an onion in my pants or something. I don't know what their problem is, it can't be hygiene because I'm big on taking of my personal hygiene. Anyway, when I see that look, I'm thinking: "You have no idea how badly I want to punch you in your freaking face." This type is also in the category (along with these hard-on patriotic flag folks and a few others) that if I had The Force...well, I'll just leave it at that. Anyone who is familiar with Star Wars knows what I'm talking about.

That brings me to the subject of this blog. The other day, I was at the Wal-Mart on Government Street and I was returning a pillowtop airbed that I accidentally damaged, trying to see if I could switch it for another one. Before I go further, to be fair, I realize that employees who work in customer service have to deal with a lot of crap-- trust me, I've worked with them before. They usually have to deal with nasty attitudes and people who are trying to get over, but that's not the case with everybody.

When I was explaining to this woman that I had a hole in the airbed, granted, she didn't get the loud mouth and typical sassy head/neck rotating and start cursing, but she still gave me that stink face and that crappy body language. I'm sure a lot of people have seen it; they shift their weight to one side and give you the most shitty look ever. Obviously, she didn't believe me and thought I was trying to get over.

Recognizing this, I thought perhaps what I said didn't come out right, so let me put it another way. Once I did that, including informing her that I was accidentally the cause of it, the bitch still had that stink look, staring at the receipt. Finally I guess maybe the other woman who was nearby was a supervisor or something, asked me if I wanted to switch it out for another one, which is exactly I wanted.

*Sigh* Long story short, and looking on the bright side of it, I was able to switch it out from there with no problems. On a side note, before leaving, because for a long time at Wal-Mart if you have an item that's not bagged, they usually have a door greeter to check your receipt. So, taking precaution, I asked this white security guard nearby if there was a door greeter around. This dickhead nonchalantly told me if I needed help I had to go customer service. SMH. I just went on about my business. I mean, that's where I went to when I first came in there, so obviously I knew where go in regards to that.

I forgot that Wal-Mart got rid of the door greeter position, it's been a long time since I've worked or shopped in there, and the attitudes of individuals like them is one of the reasons I do my darnedest to not go in there, and why I'm glad I no longer work there.
